Teaching and Transferring Know-how
The working world is undergoing a profound transformation. Companies and their employees are being confronted by rapidly changing demands. Despite the large number of applicants, increasingly more companies are having difficulties finding suitable and qualified employees. At the same time, ever more companies are adopting the view that experienced employees' knowledge and skills constitute an indispensible resource and teams made up of individuals of various ages work very effectively.
 
In cooperation with Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, the VDTC offers a consulting concept successfully field tested in industry, which makes it possible to identify implicit and individual knowledge distributed throughout an organization and to study it and transfer it for the organization.
 
Situated in this triad, a bearer of knowledge (expert) and a receiver of knowledge (novice) exchange information with one another. An independent moderator ensures they interpret terminology and experiences identically.

Important applications for a triad exchange include:
  • Succession management
  • Strategic development of knowledge in organizational units and projects
  • Team development
  • New employee orientation
