Controlling a giant portal crane is easy to try out in the Motion Base Lab at the Fraunhofer IFF’s Virtual Development and Training Centre VDTC in Magdeburg. The multi-channel immersive projection system almost completely covers the human field of vision, thus enabling users to fully immerse in a virtual world. The motion base platform makes it possible to experience motion and movement.
