The Gesellschaft für Informatik’s VR/AR Expert Group will hold its annual meeting at the Fraunhofer IFF Virtual Development and Training Centre VDTC in Magdeburg on September 25 and 26, 2008.

This event is intended to provide primarily young researchers an opportunity to present their research work to an audience of experts. This includes ongoing doctoral research as well as outstanding studies from undergraduates from universities of applied sciences and universities..

The GI’s VR/AR Expert Group aims to promote research in the field of virtual and augmented reality and support the exchange of information among researchers working in the field. This includes holding workshops at which new research finding and ongoing projects are presented.
