Training and Technology Competence Center
The competence center is a joint initiative with the Institute for Vocational Education and Human Resource Development's Chair of Technology and Education at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg (Prof. Klaus Jenewein). The center develops jointly supported research projects that are developed collaboratively with both the professional research competence on hand in Magdeburg and regional businesses.
To directly transfer technology and sustainably exploit the state of Saxony-Anhalt’s economic structures, an additional goal being pursued is the creation of a range of technology-based educational offerings for skilled industrial employees and the implementation of these offerings at the VDTC. One emphasis of the competence center’s work is the development, organization and professional support of qualification measures geared toward work processes, which can be performed in real and in virtual work environments.
