Oriented directly toward the needs of a client, customized, interactive simulations and visualizations are developed, e.g. for virtual product and process development. Complex functions of technical products can be tested and thus optimized before the first prototype has been built. Experiments can be conducted in a virtual environment without any risk. The VDTC provides remarkable opportunities for training and schooling specialized staff, e.g. by coupling real control systems to virtual models. Learning contents are processed didactically in a special scenario concept and stored together with the virtual representations of the model.
